DNS Multiple Race Exploiter (DNS_MRE) [project homepage]
line
DNS Multiple Race Exploiter tool performs DNS cache poisoning/overwriting. It exploits an inherent flaw in the actual implementation of the DNS protocol and DNS cache. For DNS servers that do not randomize the source port, exploiting the flaw would not need more than 10 seconds. However, for patched servers that randomize the source port, poisoning/overwriting the cache would need hours. DNS MRE tool can target both kinds of server. The tool is a network security tool and it is meant for penetration test.
